About This Model

The Kyosho 1:18 Toyota Land Cruiser 40 Van reproduces the third-generation Land Cruiser 40 in white. The Land Cruiser 40 was introduced in 1960 and remained in production for 24 years, becoming one of Toyota’s longest-running models. It was developed as a robust four-wheel-drive vehicle and became well known in Japan and international markets for its reliability.

The Land Cruiser 40 was offered in several configurations, including soft-top, hardtop, pick-up and cab versions, with different wheelbase options to suit various applications. The range also evolved through major updates in 1979 and 1980, adding greater comfort and four-wheel-drive capability.

This Kyosho model is finished in white and features an opening and closing function. It is suited to collectors of Toyota Land Cruiser models, classic Japanese vehicles and 1:18 scale model cars. Kyosho identifies the model as a die-cast 1:18 miniature with opening/closing features.
